I like mice as much as anybody else. Mickey and Minnie have that great spread in Orlando, not to mention other spreads around the world. Mighty Mouse is another fine example. I don't know of a mouse who can rock a cape like him. Even Sniffles from Looney Toons is a cool little mouse. Yes, he talks nonstop, but he's so cute. Desperaux was a pretty clever mouse - he could read! Ralph S. Mouse could ride a motorcycle! Stuart Little was pretty darn clever with his cars, airplanes and even going down the drain to retrieve his adopted Mom's ring. Gus and Jaq were handy in helping Cinderella.
All that to say this: I DON'T want a mouse in my house! Yuck! They give me the heebie jeebies! We live near the woods, so we are bound to get a mouse from time to time. And we do get a mouse from time to time. I believe we've had three, that we know of, since we moved here 13 years ago. Thank goodness for Ginger and her keen mouse radar! She was able to get one of them. I just wish she hadn't felt the need to share! Our neighbors have had issues with the little critters, so I know it's not just us.
The other morning I came into the living room to find one of the kids sleeping on the couch. Apparently we had another visitor in the attic who had some nocturnal activities to attend to - sounded kind of like tap dancing. Even though you have a wall or ceiling between you and the mouse, it doesn't really help the heebie jeebie factor. So, RL, our beloved mouse hunter, bought some traps. Oh, he has his issues with mice too, but since he is the mouse hunter, I will keep that little story to myself for now!
So, we sit and wait. We wait until that little mousetrap says there's a mouse inside. Yes, you can buy mousetraps that do that! Amazing! Is it okay to feel a little guilty, but still relieved at the same time? I mean, I wouldn't want Stuart Little in the trap.

Hahaha. I know just how you feel. The other night our kitties were sitting in the corner staring at the wall. For about 30 minutes. That only means one thing and I don't want to think about it!
